Dambe Warriors League Season One: Fighters secure spots for SuperFight in Kano

Lagos hosted the penultimate event of the Dambe Warriors League Season One with over 3,000 fans packing the stadium for Circuit Fight Five at Alaba Rago in Ojo area.

With spots in the inaugural SuperFight at Kano Pillars Stadium on November 26th on the line, the DWL gladiators showed great prowess and mastery in their efforts to earn spots to battle for the biggest prize in Dambe history.

Explaining the significance the Circuit Fight 5 in Lagos, Dambe Warriors Partner, Chidi Anyina, said the fighters understand what is at stake while commending the enthusiasm of fans who thronged the venue.

The traditional Nigerian combat sport has been elevated by the organizers to a world class level, providing fighters with life changing opportunity as a professional athletes.

In his own remarks, Dambe Warriors Partner Anthony Okeleke acknowledged that the level of organization has improved greatly while assuring that Dambe Warriors will attract international competitors.

Undefeated warrior BAHAGON Zayyanu will face the hard-charging Autan Ali Kanin Bello in the lightweight division, while crowd-favourite Ramadan squares off with the brutal BAHAGON Maitakwasara in the middleweight division.

Garkuwan Dutse attempts to dethrone one of the greatest Dambe heavyweights that ever lived: Dogo Maitakwasara.

And last, but not least, get ready for Sisco vs. Hussain Two, the rematch the world is talking about. The Saudi combatant has been talking tough about how the Saudis own the sport of Dambe, but we know otherwise!
